Rogers v. Criswell

This subsite contains information about a proposed settlement in Rogers, et al. v. Criswell Chevrolet, Inc., et al., Case No. 356716V, a class action which was filed on December 19, 2011, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.

In the Rogers lawsuit, among other claims, Plaintiffs allege that Criswell dealerships in Maryland sold consumers vehicles that had previously been used as daily rental vehicles without providing proper disclosure under Maryland law.

The parties reached a settlement on July 11, 2012.  The settlement requires approval by the Court.  The Court has scheduled a Final Approval Hearing for November 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland to determine whether the proposed settlement is fair, adequate and reasonable.  The public is free to attend.  However, if you are a Class member you do not need to attend the hearing to receive benefits under the Settlement Agreement.
